Be Drawn to Water this autumn at Arundel Wetland Centre - Autumn Trail
The best of the wetland nature is highlighted at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre as part of a year-long partnership between renowned illustrator Sir Quentin Blake and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. The Drawn to Water autumn trail includes stops for autumn colours, finding fungi and migrating birds to explore the amazing nature of the season through Quentin Blake’s illustrations. Art activities running with the trail this month include the adding to the pond mural, wood carving for adults and a photography project and contest, alongside the weekend family pond dipping sessions and daily wetland boat safaris. The Drawn to Water trail is free, normal admission applies.

Burgess Hill Market - Every Friday and the second Saturday of each month

Church Walk in Burgess Hill is where you will find Burgess Hill Market providing shoppers with a fantastic array of products from local, independent businesses and traders all year-round. With free pitches, a dedicated website and social media pages, the Market is a truly supportive atmosphere for start-up businesses and the perfect place to showcase their wares. On Fridays you will find a range of delicious food and drinks, including freshly baked breads and pastries, fresh fish, eggs, locally milled flour and organic coffee. On the second Saturday of each month expect to find clothing, craft items and gifts. We are currently looking for a Fruit and veg trader, as well as traders selling produce such as British cheeses and locally made drinks. Why not come and try Burgess Hill Market for yourself?

Dahlia Days at Pashley Manor Gardens - Wednesday 6th to Saturday 16th September
 
Throughout late summer the gardens at Pashley are ablaze with colour, provided by thousands of dazzling dahlias. Over 80 varieties of this diverse perennial are planted throughout the garden complemented by the second flowering of roses, late flowering perennials and other annuals. During the Dahlia Days event there will be dahlia themed walks/talks around the garden, a display of potted dahlias and the opportunity to place an order for Bloms Bulbs tubers. The café, with terrace, serves delicious cakes, scones and light lunches; the shop has gorgeous gifts and plants, and there are exhibitions of garden sculpture and floral art.

Based in Sussex and Kent, our Happy Me Kids and Happy Me Teens classes nurture, inspire and connect our company members through dance, whilst building a growth mindset.
