Nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Compton Festival is an independently run, family-friendly celebration which promises two unforgettable days of music, creativity, and community on August 29th and 30th.

Born from a brilliant idea shared over a pint in the local pub, Compton Festival is the passion project of three local residents.

Their vision? To create a joyful, inclusive event that showcases live music, hands-on arts and crafts, mouth-watering food, and the best drinks the region has to offer. Three years on, that spirit still drives every beat of the festival.

Live Music Across Two Stages - expect an eclectic mix of performances to keep you moving all weekend long! From the soulful harmonies of an African choir and the infectious energy of a Klezmer ensemble, to the UK’s top Queen tribute band and foot-stomping Celtic sounds from The Celtic Social Club, there’s something to get everyone dancing.

Food & Drink to Delight Every Taste - This year, we’re turning up the flavour with a vibrant line-up of international street food from around the world - think sizzling spices, gourmet burgers, handmade dumplings, wood-fired pizza, and more. And when it’s time to raise a glass, choose from an impressive selection of local craft ales, real ciders, and our unique cherry cider, made with 100% cider juice and bursting with fruity flavour. Creative Fun for All Ages - Get hands-on with a wide range of arts and crafts activities designed for kids and adults alike. Join in on watercolour painting workshops, try your hand at puppet making, and dive into a world of creativity that’s as fun as it is inspiring.

Workshops & Activities - From learning circus skills to testing your balance on the slackline, there are plenty of exciting ways to try something new and keep the whole family entertained.
