The Life of Philippe-Henri De Roche (1742-1835), Officer in the Regiment of Saintonge during the Seven Years' War and the War of Independence of the United States at Yorktown, then finding himself amidst the French Revolution in Paris and Verdun, his father-in-law having been guillotined during the Reign of Terror.
