Steven is the Head Ranger of Wakehurst Place's Loder Valley Nature Reserve. His talk is entitled 'The Working Wealden Wood'.
The talk describes his work overseeing all activities in the beautiful woodland of Loder Valley Nature Reserve and how he ensures it works with nature to remain productive. The 150-acre nature reserve is home to a wide range of plant species as well as dormice, badgers, kingfishers and butterflies, so the woodland's continuing well-being is of great importance. It will immediately follow a brief introduction by The Woodland, Flora & Fauna Group.
