Simon was born and lives in Brighton, East Sussex. He changed career in 2023 and trained at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, graduating with a distinction and two awards. His clock, produced in the first year of study, will be on display in the Worshipful Company of Clockmaker's exhibition in the London Science Museum for one year from November 2025.
