Art Exhibition in Stunning Arts and Crafts House in Lewes

Weekends: 7th & 8th, 14th & 15th, 21st & 22nd September, 11am to 5pm

Evocative abstract paintings inspired by wandering the beaches of the Outer Hebrides. Susie Monnington has created a new collection of paintings titled A THIN PLACE, which will be launched in September as part of Artwave, in a unique Arts and Crafts Edwardian home on Cuilfail in Lewes with stunning views over the town and out to the Downs.

Susie strives in her work to create a sense of otherness, a feeling of being neither here nor there, a detached space in-between, that the Celts call a thin place where heaven and earth collide.
