Wine Trivia Evening at Arundel Town Hall

Friday 14th March, 7pm

Call My Bluff – meets Quiz Night – meets Wine Tasting! Gather a team of friends, put your tastebuds together and join in a night of vinous fun!

Come along to a relaxed, fun-filled evening as you are challenged to guess what’s in your glass – as you are guided through a selection of six different wines. Alongside the tasting there will be a wine themed quiz, giving you an extra chance to bump up your overall score. This event is a joint fundraiser for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust and an outreach project with Arundel Lawn Tennis Club.

Tickets are for two people – £55 for a pair.

The Pirates of Penzance at Congress Theatre

Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th January

Experience Gilbert and Sullivan’s touching, witty masterpiece with a nearly 50 strong company of international singers and orchestra to do justice to Sullivan’s brilliant score. Donna Stirrup (Glyndebourne, ENO) directs this brand-new production with Martin Handley (ENO, Royal Danish Opera, Carl Rosa Opera, D’Oyly Carte Opera, BBC Radio 3) conducting.

Watch the Birdie at Tick n’ Twitch event at Arundel Wetland Centre

Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th January

Start a 2025 Bird List at the Tick n’Twitch event at Arundel Wetland Centre. Pick up a free bird list to get started if you’re a birding beginner. Young visitors can join in with a free Bird Spotter Guides and Birding Tips posted inside the wildlife hides, showing what, where and who to look for bird-wise! Tick n Twitch activities are included in the admission price.

The wetland centre stays open an extra hour on Jan 18th, 25th and Feb 1st for visitors to watch wild birds at the Evening Roost.

Paths are buggy and wheelchair friendly and the centre has a gift shop and café. Open 10am-4.30pm.

The Big Jive All-Dayer at Worthing Assembly Hall

Saturday 22nd February

The Big Jive All-Dayer is back for another eleven hours, five bands, three DJs and one huge dance floor on Saturday, 2nd February at the Worthing Assembly Hall. Hosted by the UK’s top jive and swing band and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists, The Jive Aces. Also featuring guest bands Si Cranstoun (founding member of the Dualers), Hotcha Paul & The Head Honchos, Cody Lee & His Boogie Bunch and Julie Jive & The Bigshots, they’ll keep you jumping from 1pm to Midnight! Plus vintage stalls and bar available all day.
